In our last post about the apple tv you learned about what it will do for you. Today, we will discuss the two models available one by one.
The standard Apple TV with 40 gig hard drive

- Holds (25) 2-1/2 hour movies
- Holds up to 9000 songs
The upgraded Apple TV with 160 gig hard drive
- 160 gig hard drive using intel technology
- Up to 200 hours of video
- Holds (100) 2 hour movies
- Holds up to 36,000 songs
- Holds up to 25,000 itune accessible pictures
Size and weight
Both models are the same size.

How much is this going to cost me?
Good question.
Expect to pay about $229 for the 40 gig model and $329 for the 160 gig model. For only another $100 the 160 gig model is a deal. Either one will make a welcome addition to your home theater.
